We are only ten days into the 2022 summer transfer window, but it has already felt like a lifetime.

So far, Ange Postecoglou has conducted one piece of transfer business, bringing on-loan Tottenham defender Cameron Carter-Vickers back to the club on a permanent basis.

The Celtic manager has also been linked with a host of names as he looks to add to his squad ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Despite conducting one of our most important deals this window on June 10, some Celtic fans are already becoming agitated whilst waiting on more business to come through the door.

One deal in particular that the Parkhead faithful are keen to see complete as soon as possible is Benfica winger Jota, who reportedly should only be a matter of days away from signing.

With that in mind, across the next seven days, we could be about to see Celtic and Ange Postecoglou’s summer plans go into overdrive.

The club now has the staff in place to get to work ahead of the start of the season after the announcement of new head coach Harry Kewell.

On several occasions, Postecoglou has also stated that he is keen to see a number of transfer dealings complete before we return to pre-season.

The Celtic manager and some of his squad are expected to return to Lennoxtown at the beginning of next week after enjoying an extended summer break thanks to automatic Champions League qualification.

So, you would imagine the 56-year-old is continuing his hard work to try and get some deals over the line in order to give new arrivals as much time as possible to settle in at the club.

This next week could be the time that Celtic’s 2022/23 campaign really kick starts and gets the Celtic support even more excited for the season that is to come.

With the fixtures for the Scottish Premiership being announced at the end of last week, it finally feels like we are counting down the days and weeks for when Celtic make their return.

Fingers crossed, we are able to see some movement of players coming into Celtic Park over the next few days or so!

In other news, Scott McDonald makes Ange prediction that will excite the Celtic support.
