Kyle Ure – Midfielder

Named as the academy player of the year in the 2024/25 campaign, Kyle Ure has been exceptional this year.

After proving his worth at academy level, the midfielder featured in the first-team’s pre-season under Brendan Rodgers before being sent on loan to Ayr United.

Scott Brown has been working with Ure to develop his game and make him ready-made to challenge for a spot at Parkhead next year.

Some believe he can be the long-term replacement for Callum McGregor, although, he will need to wait a while after Ure returned to the Hoops due to a serious injury.

Colby Donovan – Defender

This list can’t be created without featuring Colby Donovan.

Following numerous shouts for his inclusion, the teenager now looks like an established first-team player.

Injuries to Alistair Johnston and Anthony Ralston handed the 19-year-old a chance to prove his worth.

He has taken it with both hands and can be one of the few to hold his head high during this season so far. It will only be a matter of time before he is the number one choice.

Samuel Isiguzo – Forward

Samuel Isiguzo may be yet to make his senior competitive debut for the Bhoys, but he is destined for a bright future.

Isiguzo has been training with the first-team, and been included on the bench a couple of times, but has been waiting patiently.

He has still been getting chances with the B team and has been scoring plenty of goals at that level,

Six goals in three games last season was a solid start, and he has four in 17. With the number nine issue a problem for the Hoops, he may have a chance to break into the first team.
