Wilfried Nancy is a dead man walking at Celtic after a sixth defeat in eight games.
Celtic were beaten by Rangers in the Glasgow derby to leave the 48-year-old in a perilous position.
It feels like a matter of when, not if, he will be sacked and the Frenchman will have plenty of questions to answer.
While Nancy will be the one to take the headlines for all of the wrong reasons, the players also need to face the music.
Is Wilfried Nancy’s position untenable?
Celtic’s players have been embarrassing
Since Nancy’s arrival, can you really pick out one player who has improved in that time? Hyunjun Yang and Benjamin Nygren, maybe?
Some of that can be attributed to his coaching methods, but it also suggests that these players are not putting in the effort.
We’ve seen the form of Kasper Schmeichel and Anthony Ralston fall off a cliff, Johnny Kenny cannot hit a barn door with a banjo, and Daizen Maeda may as well be at another club given how little he has contributed.

Under Martin O’Neill, there was no place to hide. It wasn’t the Celtic legend’s reputation that would suffer, it would be theirs.
However, after being replaced by someone many knew little about, they knew that somebody would take the blame and they could hide in the shadows.
Playing for Celtic should be an honour
Anyone fortunate enough to wear the green and white Hoops should realise what a privilege it is.
Unfortunately, too many members of this Celtic side seem to be taking it for granted and it isn’t good enough.
Tell us who the perfect signings for each position would be
There are a few who don’t have the quality, but others are simply not putting in the effort.
That hurts for any Celtic fan to see, and something they hope they don’t have to witness again.
