Celtic transfer target Alexnadro Bernabei has been included in the squad list for Lanus’ league match at home to Colon tomorrow.
The Argentinian club have announced the group that are available for Sunday’s fixture and the left-back is again listed with his teammates.
Bernabei had missed three successive matches in the top-flight as speculation regarding his future and a move to Europe mounted.
The defender had been on the continent last week on personal business but returned to Argentina and has been training with the Lanus squad ahead of this weekend’s fixture.
Another absence would have only increased rumours that a move to Celtic is close but it appears nothing is expressly imminent.
As we discussed yesterday, the latest reporting on the matter comes from Sky Sports, who say that Lanus are looking for £4m from the Bhoys for his signature.
Discussions are said to be ongoing regarding a deal, with Celtic seemingly identifying the 21-year-old as a priority target in the early stages of this transfer window.
Ange Postecoglou is looking for competition on the left side of his defensive line, where Greg Taylor performed admirably as a first-choice pick last season.

More quality is needed and multiple reports suggest Liam Scales is heading out on loan, at a minimum, this summer.
Bernabei has captured the imagination of many supporters following video clips and analysis by statistical-focused fan media outlets.
There’s a feeling he could be a great choice to come in and improve the Celtic squad, potentially even the first-team.
However, the wait goes on for the breakthrough of an agreement with Lanus!
