Kieran Tierney’s Celtic return was certainly welcomed by the Parkhead support.
Celtic announced Tierney yesterday afternoon after months of waiting when Rodgers confirmed the former Arsenal man was heading back to Paradise back in February.
The Tierney news was teased by Celtic just 30 minutes before the official unveiling, to build up the excitement of the Hoops support.
And when the news was made official, Celtic supporters went crazy at the news that Tierney was now an official Bhoy once again.
Reacting to the news, Arsenal supporters sent Tierney some class messages as they wished the new Celtic defender luck over the next five years.

Arsenal fans laud ‘leader’ Kieran Tierney after his Celtic move was announced
Tierney was a popular player amongst the Arsenal support and many thought he should have been kept by Mikel Arteta.
And as Celtic announced his return:
It’s clear from the messages from the Emirates support that the now Celtic defender is going to be sorely missed by the club’s fans.
@AFCGally was very complimentary of Tierney and said, “Take care of him. Superb professional, all the best KT.” and @TomN5_ sent a message of thanks to the now Celtic defender and said, “Thank you for everything KT.”
One Arsenal fan is clearly gutted at losing who he regards as one of the best players in the Premier League side as he said:
@RobXafc was another disappointed Arsenal fan and said, “There’s only one Kieran Tierney.”
When Arsenal fans could see Kieran Tierney make his Celtic debut
Celtic have a series of summer friendlies in the pipeline and there are a few dates Tierney will pull on the green and white Hoops for the second time.
The most likely date is Celtic’s fixture against Queen’s Park which is due to take place on the 4th of July.
With the Championship in charge of selling the tickets for the game, this will be the easiest and busiest day in the history of the Queen’s Park ticket office as demand to see Tierney from the Celtic support is bound to sell the game out in a matter of hours.
