The transfer rumour mill looks set to go into overdrive as Brendan Rodgers looks to strengthen Celtic this summer.
Already the Parkhead support have had the likes of Mathias Kvistgaarden linked to Celtic as well as seeing a potential return of Ross Doohan to the Bhoys.
With Kieran Tierney’s Celtic return already confirmed, Brendan Rodgers will be keen to add more quality to his ranks this summer.
And one rumour that has not gone away is Celtic being linked to David Strelec as the Slovakian international reportedly looks to leave Slovan Bratislava this summer.

David Strelec’s agent Michal Cierny breaks silence on Celtic ‘rumours’
Celtic were told to sign Strelec by Hoops legend Lubo Moravcik after the Bratislava striker scored 25 goals in 48 appearances this season.
And here, Strelec’s agent Michal Cierny has opened up on the rumours linking his client to a potential move to Celtic.
Speaking to The Herald, Cierny said, “It’s just rumours at the moment.
“There is no concrete offer on the table from Celtic.”
Celtic reportedly offered £7.9m to land Strelec in January but the Slovakian club turned it down as they couldn’t sign a replacement in time.
David Strelec’s remarkable attacking stats as Celtic rumours continue
Strelec has won five league titles and two Slovakian Cups over his time at Bratislava and has also earned 28 caps for his country, scoring three goals.
Now with Champions League experience and five goals against Europe’s elite teams, it’s little wonder Celtic are rumoured to want him when you look at his overall attacking stats from his time at Bratislava, Reggina, Spezia Spring and Spezia Calcio.
| David Strelec | Played | Goals | Assists |
| Slovan Bratislava | 206 | 70 | 29 |
Strelec has had a hand in a goal in almost every two appearances that he has made at all levels and with a club like Celtic and the number of chances Brendan Rodgers’ side creates, the Slovakian would have a great time in Glasgow scoring goals.
