Bristol City have announced the signing of Lorent Tolaj.
The Plymouth Argyle striker had a host of clubs chasing him this summer, but his signing has now been confirmed by the Robins.
Celtic’s interest in Tolaj was first reported in January, but Argyle held on to the Swiss in the hope that his goals would help them to promotion to the Championship.
This ultimately wasn’t the case, leaving Plymouth helpless in the face of an inevitable sale this summer.

Bristol City announce signing of Lorent Tolaj
Tolaj’s move to Ashton Gate was confirmed on Monday, with the club announcing the transfer on social media.
Sky Sports report that the deal is worth a minimum of £4 million.

Tolaj finished the season as Plymouth’s top scorer with 22 goals in all competitions. He moved to Home Park for £1.2 million.
Having moved to Brighton from FC Sion as a teenager, Tolaj has mostly spent his career in the EFL, including at Cambridge United and Salford City.
He also had a short spell at Dundee – in which he struggled to make an impact in Scotland’s second tier – and spent time at non-league Aldershot Town.
Celtic now clearly need several strikers in the summer transfer window after it was confirmed that Kelechi Iheanacho has joined Bursaspor.
Camilo Duran is the club’s only signing so far in the window, whilst other strikers linked during the summer include Kasper Hogh and Tobias Lauritsen.
O’Neill has insisted that there are “two sides to every story” after Iheanacho’s move was confirmed over the weekend.

O’Neill said on Iheanacho: “There are always two sides to every particular transfer.
“He’s gone. I thought we had a deal with him at the time, but that seemingly wasn’t the case, so he has gone to pastures new. There we go.
“I think the option ran out. That’s fine. But the option would be to take someone, I assume, on similar terms as before. That, I think, is probably the difference, really.
“I thought Iheanacho did terrifically well for us, as a real impact player coming on. In my two spells here; he actually started one game for us, which was the game against Dundee United.
“It would have been nice to have him for pre-season, but he has chosen to go elsewhere, and that’s fine. You have to ask him.”
