Celtic have agreed a club record transfer to sign Kasper Hogh from Bodo/Glimt, it is being reported.
The 25-year-old is set for a medical ahead of a blockbuster transfer which is over six months in the waiting.
The need for Martin O’Neill to add a striker has been clear for months, reinforced by the recent losses of Kelechi Iheanacho and Daizen Maeda.
But the club appear to have pulled off a coup by luring Hogh from one of the fastest-rising clubs in Europe.

Celtic agree £11 million-plus deal to sign Kasper Hogh
Ryan McDonald of the Daily Record (among others) reports that Celtic have agreed a club-record fee, worth a minimum of £11 million, to sign Hogh with immediate effect.
Pending a medical, the deal looks to be done.

Maeda’s Celtic exit was confirmed just minutes before the news broke that an agreement had been reached for Hogh.
The Dane is a completely different type of striker. Standing at 6 ft 1 in tall, he offers aerial prowess and hold-up play as well as pace.
Celtic were linked with Hogh in January, though the Danish striker stayed put after scoring three goals in two games against Atletico Madrid and Manchester City to qualify his side for the knockout rounds of the Champions League.
Beginning his career at Randers, he spent time on loan in Iceland, but eventually moved to Norway when he was unable to break through in the Danish Superliga.
Just a single season at Stabaek was enough to earn him a move to Kjetil Knutsen’s side. Last season, he racked up seven goals as the club reached the semi-finals of the Europa League.
It’s an extremely impressive level of European pedigree for a player signed by Celtic.
A much-needed addition which is bound to be well-received by fans.
