Celtic are probably the busiest club in Britain at the moment.

The Hoops are scrambling to get deals over the line before the 11pm transfer deadline, with a striker and winger top priorities.

Kasper Dolberg has fallen by the wayside, but Celtic are now trying to sign David Datro Fofana on loan from Premier League giants Chelsea.

The winger they want is Sebastian Tounekti, with a third bid of £5.2m submitted to Hammarby earlier this morning. So has it been accepted?

Hammarby & Celtic ‘agree on a transfer for Sebastian Tounekti’

According to Sportbladet, Hammarby and Celtic have agreed upon the third offer and Tounekti is on his way to Glasgow to complete a move.

They reported: “Hammarby and Celtic have now agreed on a transfer for Sebastian Tounekti, Daniel Kristoffersson says in our broadcast above.

“Tounekti is flying to Glasgow now, says ‘Disco’.

“Later on Monday evening, Sky Sports also reported that Hammarby and Celtic have reached an agreement. The sum is expected to be just over 66 million Swedish kronor, writes Sky.”

Anthony Joseph has confirmed this news, adding that agreeing personal terms should not be a problem, but there is a race against time to get relevant documents signed.

Celtic tried to sign Manuel Benson before Yang news

Meanwhile, Yang’s £3m move to Birmingham City has collapsed.

The EFL Championship outfit could not guarantee that the deal could be completed by 7pm, the English deadline time.

According to Sky Sports, Celtic were exploring a loan deal for Burnley winger Manuel Benson as they expected Yang to exit for the Blues.

But that pursuit has been abandoned because Yang is now on his way back to Scotland.
