Celtic’s main focus at the moment is their search for a permanent manager.
A 3-1 defeat against Midtyjlland on Thursday cast doubt over Martin O’Neill’s chances of being in the role long-term.
With an international break approaching, there is a suggestion that news could be approaching on a new appointment by the time that the Hoops return to action against St Mirren.
Despite the lack of a manager to replace Brendan Rodgers, the club will still have an eye on the January transfer window, which is less than two months away.
And after being linked with Kilmarnock’s David Watson, they are also now claimed to have made a bid for Morocco under-20 captain Hossam Essadak.
Celtic ‘offer’ for Union Touarga’s Hossam Essadak
Celtic’s signing of Sebastian Tounekti has been something of a success so far, with the winger showing some seriously encouraging signs in his appearances so far.
Tounekti has qualified for next summer’s World Cup with Tunisia – and the Hoops are now reportedly after another North African talent.

The Under-20 World Cup has just taken place in Chile, and scouts throughout Europe will undoubtedly have been watching closely.
The tournament was won by Morocco, after an exceptional run which saw them beat Spain, Brazil and France before winning 2-0 against Argentina in the final.
One of the stars of their run was Essadak, who unlike most members of their squad, still plays his football in the Moroccan league.
An attacking midfielder, the 20-year-old captained the side to victory in the final before being presented with the trophy by Gianni Infantino.
According to Africafoot, his club’s officials have confirmed that he has offers from Celtic and Sunderland, as a departure from Union Touarga appears imminent.
Premier League competition could make this a difficult move for the Hoops to complete, but Essadak does appear to be an exciting name.
Celtic’s midfield situation
Callum McGregor, Arne Engels and Benjamin Nygren have started together in Celtic’s three games since the return of O’Neill.
The Hoops have options though, with Luke McCowan, Reo Hatate and Paulo Bernardo all on the bench.
Bernardo’s game time has been extremely limited, perhaps making him a possible departure in January. In that case, the Hoops’ links with Watson and Essadak make sense.
Upon his return to domestic action with Touarga last week, Essadak was sent off against Renaissance Zemamra.
