Lech Poznan have launched their opening bid for Luis Palma.
Palma is on the verge of securing the Polish Ekstraklasa title, his third league win in three years in three different countries.
The move to Poland has been a success, making a permanent exit from Celtic the most likely outcome this summer.
However, whether Lech have the financial might to pull the move off remains to be seen.
Luis Palma: overrated or underrated?
Lech Poznan offer £2 million to sign Luis Palma from Celtic
As reported by the Daily Record, Lech have offered the Hoops £2 million for the permanent signature of Palma.
However, the offer is well short of the £3.5 million buyout clause pre-agreed in his loan.

This is the source of the uncertainty over whether the move will happen. If they are to pay the buyout clause, Lech will have to pay almost double their record transfer fee.
With ten goals and nine assists this season, Palma is on the radar of Sevilla, among other clubs who could afford a much higher fee.
Speaking to TNH last month, Palma refused to rule-out recommencing his Celtic career, saying: “At Celtic I had a great time, I enjoyed it a lot.
“I want to have a second chance, I have a contract with them, I’m still part of the club and if they say I have to return, I’ll do it in the best way possible.”
“My dream is to return to a high-performance league; for me, the Scottish league was a high-performance one.
“I got to play what every player wants to play, which was the Champions League—that dream hasn’t died yet. I want to feel that sensation again of playing one of those matches.”

The Celtic career of Luis Palma
Palma was brought to Glasgow from Aris Thessaloniki in the final days of Brendan Rodgers’ first transfer window after returning.
The window had such a bad hit-rate that Mark Lawwell ended up leaving the club, but unlike some other recruits, Palma did make solid contributions to the side.
He scored two goals in the Champions League group stage, also providing a hat-trick of assists in a game against Aberdeen.
But in his second season, he found it impossible to make it into the team’s first-choice attack, and made his last Hoops appearance last January.
