Celtic have used the loan market with varying degrees of success over the last few seasons. This has happened under both Brendan Rodgers and Neil Lennon’s time as Hoops manager. Therefore, it would not be a shock to see the club utilise this market once more.
One player who might be on Celtic’s radar is Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah. The highly-rated player, who is just 20, has just returned to the Premier League side after a loan spell at Leeds was cut short, mostly due to injury.
Nketiah might not have played that often for Leeds, but that shouldn’t take away from the fact that he does seem to be a player with a bright future.
Has an excellent international record

Just look at his international record – he has scored eight goals in eight games for the England under-21 side.
The Hoops need to score goals for the rest of the reason to ensure that the title remains at Celtic Park. At the moment, only two players can be relied upon to score goals most weeks, Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie. That cannot last forever.
That is why the Hoops should move to bring in a few strikers in the January window. Recent reports claim that Neil Lennon is considering signing two forwards in January.
Nketiah could well be one of the names of the Hoops’ list of players they are considering signing in the January window.
Little chance of a permanent deal

It would not be a permanent deal, you would imagine. Arsenal will want to keep hold of the player, especially under the recently appointed Mikael Arteta.
However, with reports suggesting that Bristol City are interested in the player, Celtic should move fast if he is a player that the club are interested in.
Nketiah could prove to be a shrewd signing. He will be eager to make up for his loan spell to Leeds not working, and perhaps he can do that at Celtic.
