Celtic know they need a winger, but even the Bhoys wouldn’t scrape the bottom of the barrel.
Brendan Rodgers wants more signings and on the shopping list is a winger.
Daizen Maeda, Hyunjun Yang and James Forrest are the only viable options right now with Marco Tilio expected to join Rapid Vienna.
Talks with Michel-Ange Balikwisha have died down and we’re now reaching the stage where some truly odd suggestions for signings are being made.

Romanian FA chief foolishly says Celtic should sign Ianis Hagi
Rodgers needs winners at the club and players coming to Celtic Park need to have that mentality instilled into them.
Ianis Hagi certainly didn’t do much of that during his time at Rangers, spending more time on the treatment table and as a result, he was eventually released in the summer.
Romanian media have revealed he is in talks with Steaua Bucharest, however, the Romanian FA technical director Mihai Stoichita has bizarrely encouraged Celtic to sign the winger so that he can get revenge on the neighbours down the road.

“I would be happy to see Ianis Hagi at Celtic,” Stoichita said via Glasgow Times.
“Let him play for them and beat Rangers.
“If he signs for Steaua Bucharest, I don’t think it’s a step backwards for his career at all. He is fit and could play immediately. If he signs for a club now, he could easily play for the national team in the World Cup qualifiers in September and I pray for that.”
Celtic should go nowhere near Ianis Hagi
Let’s make this very clear. Celtic shouldn’t even entertain the idea of signing Hagi.
Depth in the wide positions is sparse but there is a reason he is yet to find a club.
Furthermore, Hagi struggled to nail down a regular spot at Ibrox and wouldn’t stand a chance of playing for the Hoops.
That’s without even considering that he would almost certainly not be welcomed at Parkhead and would burn all bridges at Rangers, where his father remains a popular figure.
There is still time in the transfer window and better options are out there.
