A transfer target Celtic tried to bring to Parkhead has admitted he wasn’t disappointed to miss out on joining the Hoops.
The transfer window was frustrating viewing for all Celtic supporters as they missed out on several times.
That spilled over into the stands as fans staged a 12-minute protest during the Kilmarnock game.
While Brendan Rodgers has spoken about missing out on targets, one player they couldn’t get to join has spoken out on the failed move.

Jakob Breum opens up on failed Celtic transfer target
One of the biggest dramas of the window was the pursuit of winger Jakob Breum.
Go Ahead Eagles laughed at the offers for Breum after the Hoops low-balled the Eredivisie club a number of times.
In the end, the transfer didn’t happen, but that hasn’t bothered the 21-year-old.
He told Destentor: “To be honest, it wasn’t a huge issue for me.
“Of course, when reports appear in the media after you haven’t heard anything for a month and family members ask if you’re going, it’s strange.
“But I tried to remain professional and also told the manager that I really wanted to play for this club. Hopefully, everyone saw that during that period.”
Jakob Breum wanted to play against Celtic in the Europa League
He may not be wearing the green and white, but Breum will still get the chance to play in the Europa League this season.
Celtic do face Dutch opposition when they take on Utrecht, but the Go Ahead winger admitted he wanted to go up against the Bhoys.
“It would have been nice to have been drawn against Celtic,” he admitted.
“There was a lot of talk about a transfer to Celtic, but it’s not something I’ve thought about much recently, because we’re playing eight very big matches in the Europa League and I need to concentrate on that.”
