A fresh report has linked former Celtic defender Kieran Tierney with a Champions League move.
The Scotland international is set to enter European football’s premier club competition this season with Arsenal, although he may soon be departing the London side.
Tierney has struggled to nail down a regular starting spot at the Emirates in recent times, and has been linked with a departure this summer.
The left-back has even been mentioned as a potential loan signing for Celtic, with a report suggesting that he would consider a return to the Hoops after leaving in 2019.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers failed to rule out a deal in mid July, even if he did admit the financials involved could make it difficult.
Now, Tierney has been linked with a move to Spanish side Real Sociedad.

Italian journalist Matteo Moretto has 234,000 followers on Twitter, and tweeted an intriguing update on Monday evening.
His tweet was straight to the point. Translated, it read: “Real Sociedad have asked Arsenal for the loan of Kieran Tierney.” (@MatteMoretto on Twitter)
Sociedad are back in the Champions League this season, after finishing fourth in La Liga last season. They are just ahead of us in the coefficient rankings, meaning that they are likely to find themselves in pot four too.

So a Tierney reunion may no longer be possible if a move to the Basque Country comes off. Of course, he could always just decide to come up the road instead.
You know it makes sense, Kieran.
