Beram Kayal has admitted he would love a return to Celtic Park as he waits for offers as an unattached midfielder, The Scottish Mail on Sunday reports (04/10 print edition, page 143).
Kayal left Brighton & Hove Albion this summer after six successful seasons that saw them rise from the English Championship to the Premier League.
Now searching for a new side, he sounds very eager to reunite with former manager Neil Lennon.

The Israeli international told The Scottish Mail on Sunday (04/10 print edition, page 143): “I’m waiting for some offers. We’ve had a few offers, some from abroad, but I need to look out for my family and it’s not the right stage to do it.
“A few things have come in from Scotland but we didn’t go far with that. I respect the people, so I don’t want to say which clubs. I need everything to be right.
“If it’s Celtic who come in, then I will be there tomorrow.
“We’re in the last few days of the transfer window but I’m a free agent, so the market will be open for me past the deadline. I’m ready for the next challenge. I’m still hungry, I’m only in my early 30s and I want to see what’s next.”
It should be stressed that there is no indication Celtic are interested in the 32-year-old.
Lennon is already well-stocked in the midfield department and unless there are exits, a Kayal arrival would be extremely unlikely.

Still, Kayal remains in touch with his former boss, also revealing in the interview that he spoke to Lennon before Hatem Abd Elhamed signed up at the club.
He made 131 appearances in total for the Bhoys, though a good chunk of those were from the substitute’s bench.
Hopefully he finds himself a new club shortly and has a successful season.
In other news, Charlton are bracing themselves for a late offer from Celtic.
