Celtic have been linked with all kinds of players over the summer and the rumours aren’t slowing down.
Brendan Rodgers has repeatedly spoken about bolstering the squad and to add to the eight signings the Hoops have already made.
With a Champions League play-off coming up against Kairat Almaty to come next, transfer activity may be on hold for now but a winger seems to be the big priority.
Calvin Stengs has been a name floating around, with the Feyenoord winger reportedly one of those capturing Celtic’s interest.
His future seems to be up in the air, but will Robin van Persie let him go?

Robin van Persie doesn’t see Calvin Stengs as a key player
Stengs was a key part of the 55-time Dutch champions’ pre-season games but since the start of the competitive campaign, is yet to feature in any of the opening four fixtures.
The 26-year-old is under contract until 2027 and is one of the club’s highest earners, meaning that it could take a decent fee to take him away from De Kuip.
Van Persie is keen to lay down his marker though and according to Voetbalzone, is willing to part ways with Stengs and he could leave this summer.
Celtic have made no offer for Calvin Stengs
Rumours of Stengs to Celtic Park are mild at best but so far, no offer has come in for him.
Feyenoord haven’t had any contact from the Hoops and probably won’t for the next few days at least.
There is said to be some concern around the wide man’s injury record but after being linked with big names like Leeds United in the past, there is clearly a player there.
