Jakob Breum was handed a start by Go Ahead Eagles for their Eredivisie clash against Ajax.
Celtic have had a number of bids rejected for Breum after Go Ahead Eagles quoted £5m for his services.
Breum missed the season opener against Fortuna Sittard due to injury but following several links, the 21-year-old was handed minutes from the off this weekend.
Go Ahead took the lead twice but Ajax responded on both occasions, with the game ending in a 2-2 draw.

Jakob Breum subbed in Go Ahead Eagles draw
The winger is still getting up to speed after his recent setback so it was no surprise to see that he didn’t last the full 90 minutes.
He was eventually subbed in the 66th minute while the score was still 2-2 and according to Destentor.nl, the decision to bring him off would take “some of the sting out of the team.”
That proved to be the correct outcome given that neither side could find the winner and had to settle for a point each.
Celtic’s approach for Jakob Breum could depend on Champions League hopes
It’s been a couple of weeks since any talk of Celtic going back in for Breum and that may be down to full focus on the Champions League.
Brendan Rodgers has already hinted that they will wait to see if they can get past Kairat Almaty in the Champions League qualifier to land some of their targets, that also included Michel-Ange Balikwisha.
Qualification to the main phase could open the door to a whole new list of targets, but for now it remains a waiting game.
