The Polish champions are making no secret of their desire to keep Palma after his impressive loan spell.
But their urgency gives Celtic far more leverage than they had before the Honduran left Glasgow.

Lech Poznan have made their intentions clear
Lech have already returned with a second bid for Palma after his successful season in Poland.
The 25-year-old played a major role in their title-winning campaign, which explains why the club are now pushing hard to complete a permanent deal.
Lech president Karol Klimczak told the Daily Record, “It’s clear that we want to keep Luis Palma. We’re working on it.
“We want to sign him, it’s not easy, but we want to.”
Sporting director Adrian Gałuszka also made the club’s stance obvious.
He said: “It’s no secret that Luis feels good in Poznan. He was a magician this season, put in important numbers and contributed to several important team results.”
Celtic now hold the stronger negotiating position
Reports have suggested Celtic could be ready to slash their asking price, but that does not mean the Scottish champions are under pressure to accept a bargain offer.
Palma’s successful loan spell has increased his value, not weakened it.
That is why Celtic have reportedly continued to stand firm despite Lech’s repeated attempts to negotiate a lower fee.
The more publicly Lech discuss their determination to keep Palma, the clearer it becomes that they see him as an important part of their future.
That leaves Celtic in a far stronger position than they were before the winger rediscovered his form in Poland.
