Celtic are looking at Kevin Nisbet again following his brilliant return to form in the Scottish Premiership.
The Scottish Sun reports analysts at Lennoxtown are assessing the Hibernian striker and his suitability for Ange Postecoglou’s system after hitting seven goals in his first six games back from a serious knee injury.
The Hibs forward missed almost the entirety of 2022 but has roared back to red-hot status in the top flight and has less than 18 months left on his contract at Easter Road.

Nisbet has been linked with the Bhoys before of course, touted for a potential transfer back in the summer of 2021, just after Postecoglou arrived in the country.
Nothing came of all that but with Celtic always in the market to bolster the squad, it makes sense that the Scotland international would come back onto the radar, even if this new interest has not yet developed into anything approaching a bid.
It’s believed there has been no contact between Celtic and Hibernian regarding the player.
The striker is probably best served to stay at Hibs until at least the summer, considering he is essentially on the comeback trail.
A good few months of regular football will prove to suitors there are no lingering ill effects of his long-term injury.
Still, if he keeps up his rate of scoring, I doubt Celtic will be the only club keeping an eye on him ahead of next season – especially if he doesn’t pen a new Hibs contract.
