Celtic are ‘keeping tabs’ on the situation of Derby County captain Tom Lawrence, TEAMtalk have reported this morning.
The outlet believes the winger is also being tracked by a clutch of English Premier League clubs, including Leeds United and Southampton.
Lawrence is out of contract this summer, meaning he can be signed for nothing. He looks set to leave Pride Park after the club’s relegation to English League One amidst financial difficulties.

The 28-year-old primarily plays on the left-wing but has shown versatility in the past to feature on the right flank or even through the middle.
He managed to score 11 goals in the English Championship last season, also contributing five assists. [Transfermarkt]
The player has also earned 23 caps with the Welsh national team, though hasn’t been called up since last year.
Tom Lawrence just the latest name linked to Celtic
Given his contract status, competition is fierce when it comes to his signature, but he could be a potential bargain for the Bhoys as Ange Postecoglou builds his squad for the challenges of his second season.
It has been reported that Postecoglou is in the market for a winger this summer, to provide competition and backup for players such as Daizen Maeda and Liel Abada.
At this stage, Lawrence’s situation sounds very much in flux, but if Celtic are keeping tabs then the club must have some sort of positive scouting or data feedback on him.
Celtic have been linked with a number of names over the last week but the permanent signings of Jota and Cameron Carter-Vickers remain the closest deals in the pipeline, per multiple outlets.
In other news, Cameron Carter-Vickers advised to say yes to Celtic.
