Long-time Celtic target Sondre Orjasaeter opened up on his failed move to Celtic in the January transfer window.
Orjasaeter was in talks with Celtic throughout the month but ended up pulling the plug on the deal and chose to remain in Norway with Sarpsborg.
Sky Sports have revealed that the Bhoys are now back in the mix for the 21-year-old and could be preparing another bid, with Celtic being told to cough up £7m for Orjasaeter.
Brendan Rodgers wants to bolster his wide options ahead of defending their Scottish Premiership crown for a fifth season in a row and with Orjasaeter missing out on last season’s victory, he revealed why he couldn’t commit to joining.

Sondre Orjasaeter ‘wasn’t ready’ for Celtic move
Playing for Celtic is a privilege, but also demanding.
If you’re not ready to handle the pressure, chances are you’ll crumble and when discussing his reasons for turning down the Bhoys in January, Orjasaeter admitted that he wasn’t ready.

“I came to the conclusion that I was determined to stay in Sarpsborg and play here, because I didn’t know if I was ready to leave yet.” he said via the Glasgow Times.
“If I get a little more time in Sarpsborg, I think I’ll mature and be ready for it eventually.”
Sondre Orjasaeter values enjoyment over money
Football is a lucrative career and the chances are that if you make it as a professional, you can make a fair bit of money.
In a world where football is populated by inflated wages, Orjasaeter has a different outlook on how he wants his career to look and values enjoying the beautiful game as opposed to filling his pockets.
He said: “Of course, you will have a better life after your career if you have more money in your account, but you only live once.
“For me, it is just as important to have fun along the way.
“I have a lot of friends to keep me grounded.”
