Celtic fans could get an indication over the situation with Gustaf Lagerbielke this Sunday.
The Swedish central-defender’s name has been on the lips of Hoops supporters this week, with reports suggesting that he is set to replace Carl Starfelt at the club.
Lagerbielke has already spoken openly about wanting to move to Glasgow, with midweek comments making it sound like a deal isn’t far away.
Despite that, we’re yet to hear any confirmation of Celtic actually having a bid accepted. Different reports and quotes have offered slight contradictions, and it’s hard to know exactly what is going on.
But fans could get a stronger indication when Lagerbielke’s Elfsborg take to the pitch in a few days.
The Borås side are currently one point clear of Malmo at the top of the Allsvenskan and travel to Hammarby on Sunday afternoon.

Lagebielke has featured in all but one of his side’s last 17 matches — only missing out on the win over Djurgarden due to suspension.
With Elfsborg in such a tight title fight, they will want to have Lagerbielke around. But, if a deal is close, it’s in nobody’s interest for him to pick up an injury.
The game kicks off at 4:30pm (Celtic Park time) on Sunday and it will be interesting to see if the defender features.

If he doesn’t, we can probably assume a move is close. If he does, there should be plenty of Celtic supporters tuning in to see what he’s all about.
In other news, Alexandro Bernabei didn’t feature against Ross County because he landed himself in hot water with Brendan Rodgers
