Celtic are reportedly interested in signing Aston Villa youngster Louie Barry on loan for the rest of the season.

The Hoops want to recruit one or two new wingers this January with just over half of the transfer window left for Brendan Rodgers to get deals over the line.

Celtic are supposedly in talks to sign Sondre Ørjasæter from Sarpsborg 08, but are also keen on adding former England U18 international Barry to their first-team squad.

Barry spent the first half of this season on loan at Stockport County from Villa and netted a very impressive 16 goals in 24 appearances before being recalled.
