Celtic winger Jota enjoyed a quick game of penalties with Joe Hart’s son in a brilliant post-match moment you may have missed yesterday.
Jota and Hart enjoyed an incredible day of title-winning celebrations in the 6-0 win over Motherwell yesterday. The game marked Hart;s 25th clean sheet of the season whilst Jota took his goalscoring tally for the season to 13.
And as the incredible post-match scenes died down, Jota took the opportunity to give Hart’s boy an opportunity in the Celtic goal himself:
Jota and Hart have been a close combo this season after both men arrived in the summer. They’ve enjoyed plenty of class moments with each other whether it be behind the scenes or during goalscoring celebrations.
This is another touching moment that only goes to show the strength of the relationships at the football club.
Jota is due to return to Benfica with his loan spell now up. However, there will undoubtedly be a major clamour to get him to return.

Jota enjoys Celtic penalty game with Joe Hart’s son as title celebrations cool down
It’s a brilliant gesture from Jota. Nothing sums up his bubbly personality more than this. It’s the kind of thing that will melt many Celtic supporters’ hearts after an emotional day on the pitch.
Now, we move forward and look ahead to what’s next for the club. Whether Jota stays or leaves for good will have a huge beating on how fans feel heading into next season.
He’s reminded us of exactly what he’s worth to this football club during the final weeks of the season. It’s just a shame the season is coming to an end given it appears as if Jota is finally finding his best football once again.
All we know at the moment is that Celtic are working behind the scenes to get a deal done. It’s clear the club will want him back next season, but the player will of course have the final say.
It’s difficult to say for certain what it is that Jota wants for himself next season. But he has looked just as passionate as anyone about this football club this season. He was one of the happiest looking during yesterday’s celebrations and could have Champions League football to look forward to if he stays.
Celtic are an extremely attractive proposition for players like Jota next season. With a bit of luck that’s something he sees himself.
