Celtic set to lose promising youngster named in Champions League List B squad

Celtic could be set to lose their fourth player in the January transfer window.

So far this month, Celtic have lost Stephen Welsh and Odin Thiago Holm on loan as both players look to get first-team minutes under their belt.

This morning, 67 Hail Hail also discussed how much money the Bhoys will bank for selling Alexandro Bernabei to Internacional after the Argentine sealed a permanent exit from Celtic Park.

And now, it also seems that the Parkhead club could be set to lose a promising talent from the Celtic Academy as Hearts look to complete the signing of a youngster whose contract expires at the end of the season.

Hearts set to sign Celtic B youngster ‘this week’

Hearts are said to be closing in on the signing of young Celtic midfielder, Aiden Haddow, as the 19-year-old starlet’s contract runs down.

Haddow was named in this season’s Champions League B List squad alongside the likes of Daniel Cummings, Joey Dawson and Francis Turley.

Haddow has not made a single first-team appearance for Celtic despite signing his first professional contract with the Hoops as a 16-year-old. [Celtic FC]

According to the Daily Record, young Haddow will go straight into the Hearts B team and back into the Lowland League.
