Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has one or two contract situations to tie up at Parkhead over the next few months as squad changes threaten to occur in the near future.
Starting in the most obvious place, Rodgers reiterated his desire for Greg Taylor to renew his Celtic contract in his pre-match press conference before the Bhoys travel to face Dundee United.
The 27-year-old is free to discuss a pre-contract from January, but the Irishman still retains hope he will commit his future to the club.

Another man who falls into that category is Celtic B star Daniel Cummings, who has enjoyed some excellent form in front of goal this season under Stephen McManus.
With the 18-year-old free to leave next summer for cross-border compensation, Cummings has attracted interest from the Premier League and Serie A, with Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bologna and Club Brugge among his most notable suitors.
Undoubtedly, the Bhoys have a decision to make in regards to his long-term prospects, but his form on the field continues to highlight why he is an asset worth retaining.
Daniel Cummings scores again in thumping Celtic B victory
Serving up some festive Friday night football, Celtic B hammered Stirling University 7-0 at the Albert Bartlett Stadium last night in Airdrie.
Cummings was among the scorers, while Jude Bonnar, Sean McArdle, Kyle Ure, Lewis Dobbie and a Samuel Isiguzo brace ensured another sizeable victory.
The young Hoops move two points behind East Kilbride, who are out of league action this weekend and instead face Pollok in the South Challenge Cup.
From a personal standpoint, Cummings is now on 23 goals from 24 outings this term, prolonging eyes on his situation and potential to develop into a star of the future.
Celtic won’t want to lose another promising talent
Talent slipping through the cracks at Lennoxtown isn’t something that is a new occurrence, but Celtic supporters will still retain hope that Cummings can be kept around for the foreseeable future.
Rodgers has made promoting a third striker a priority at the club, though it remains to be seen whether the 18-year-old will come into the conversation as an internal candidate.
Cummings clearly has a natural instinct in front of goal. Nevertheless, there doesn’t seem to have been any progress on an extension for the freescoring youngster.
