Adam Idah says Celtic star has been ‘unbelievable’ since pre-season after win over Hearts

Celtic have opened up a three-point lead at the top of the Premiership table.

It was an action-packed Saturday of football in Scotland, with Aberdeen losing to St Mirren and Rangers dropping points against Dundee United in the earlier games.

Before Celtic put four goals past Hearts to, not only remain top, but now go three ahead of Aberdeen and 11 points in front of Rangers in the table.

Yes, it was a slow start from Brendan Rodgers’ side, but the scores were level at the break and Celtic punished their opponents.

Kyogo Furuhashi, Nicolas Kuhn and a brace from Adam Idah did the job for the Bhoys, who had too much quality for Hearts in the attacking third.

Idah showcased Celtic’s bench strength with his goals, but he wanted to give his flowers to somebody else after the game.

Adam Idah says Nicolas Kuhn has been ‘unbelievable’ for Celtic since pre-season

Idah was on-loan last season – joining at the same time as Kuhn in January – but they had very different impacts.

But all of that has now changed on its head because Kuhn is Celtic’s main man, with the 24-year-old already scoring his 11th goal of the campaign.

Idah stated that he was watching Kuhn ‘from home’ in pre-season – before he re-joined the club – and he could see his qualities from there, as he told Sky Sports Scotland.

“He has been fantastic,” said Idah. “Since pre-season, when I was watching at home, he has been unbelievable, so hopefully, he keeps it going and scores more goals.”

Kuhn’s stats for Celtic this season

Just like Matt O’Riley at Celtic, here is another example of patience being a virtue because this man is transformed.

There is now talk of Kuhn earning a Germany call-up, and in truth, he is doing everything he can to knock on that door and break it down.

Not only is he ripping it up in the Premiership, but he is also shining for Celtic in the Champions League.

As posted by Transfermarkt, Kuhn already has 22 goal involvements to his name for this season.
