Celtic fans are counting down the days before Kieran Tierney is donning the club’s colours again.
In the meantime, Tierney is still putting in the work for Arsenal, whose season is starting to crumble and they are set to miss out on the Premier League title.
Liverpool are walking away with it and are 13 points clear at the top of the Premier League table – just like Celtic are motoring towards their title.

On Wednesday night, Arsenal recorded a goalless draw against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground, as Mikel Arteta provided Tierney with some rare minutes.
Despite Tierney being injury-free for months now, he has only played over an hour in the Premier League and is now spending more time on the bench than on the pitch.
But, with summer signing Riccardo Calafiori getting booked inside two minutes against Forest on Wednesday night, he was hooked off at half-time and Tierney was brought into the fold.

Arsenal fans are amazed by Kieran Tierney against Nottingham Forest ahead of Celtic return
Seeing Tierney ball is great for Celtic because the champions of Scotland are going to get a 27-year-old who can still perform at the top of his game.
That’s why some Arsenal fans don’t want him to leave and others claim that he is the London club’s best left-back.
Given that Arsenal have a host of players who can play left-back – five in total – then that proves the quality levels Tierney is still hitting and it should excite Celtic fans.
@curtisshaw9 made it clear: ‘Tierney is our best left back…..’
More praise for Tierney by @afcjxmes: ‘Tierney would’ve been incredible in a different era honestly, he does the fundamentals so well’.
Some Arsenal fans want to see more of the Scotsman, as @rusty_fc wrote: ‘Tierney is 10x better than Calafiori and should be starting.’
Some want Tierney to stay, as @UPYOURARSENAL04 stated: ‘would sell Zinchenko & Tomiyasu Keep Kieran Tierney, he is only 27’.
@Ch1Hudson also chirped in: ‘Tierney still a better lb than all the others’
@SamJDean explained how Tierney was being used at Forest: ‘Merino as a striker, Zinchenko as a midfielder, Tierney as some sort of defender-forward hybrid. Arteta’s in full experimental mode’.
@ArsenalN7 wants Calafiori to go to Celtic instead: ‘Send Calafiori to Celtic, keep Kieran Tierney’.
@Yormidey_Daniel added: ‘I see no reason why we are letting Tierney leave the club. Just cos of a system that has won us nothing’.
Tierney’s stats for Arsenal against Forest
Given that Tierney is nowhere near up to speed because Arteta keeps him on the bench all the time, then it’s further testament to the player that he is still performing well.
WhoScored gave the boyhood Celtic fan a rating of just under seven against a side that is expected to secure Champions League football for next season.
| Shots | Passes | KeyP | PA% | Aerials Won | Total Tackles | Inter | Clear | Touches | Rating |
| 1 | 15 | 1 | 80 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 2 | 25 | 6.45 |
With Arsenal now struggling, it will be interesting to see if Tierney is handed more minutes or a rare start because he deserves it.
Arsenal take on PSV in the Champions League last-16 stage next week and then take on Manchester United at Old Trafford.
It would be great for the Celtic Park faithful to see Tierney in action and put on a show before he returns to Glasgow.
