Everyone inside Celtic Park was breathing a sigh of relief after that one!
On Wednesday night, Celtic beat Young Boys 1-0 to progress to the play-off stages in the Champions League thanks to some late drama.
The last time the Bhoys were in Europe was on December 10 and, leading up to that match, there was a lot of pressure and expectation going into this game.
As expected, Celtic started very well, but time and time again, the ball was in the back of the net, only for VAR and the linesman to rightfully rule the goals out for offside.
You were hoping for some luck, but then Arne Engels had his penalty saved and, at that moment, you wouldn’t be surprised if some were starting to get nervous.
One thing is for sure, with five minutes left on the clock, many more were feeling nervous, before an own goal did the trick and Brendan Rodgers booked that all-important play-off ticket.
Brendan Rodgers ‘frustrated’ with Greg Taylor
With the goals not going in, you can understand that there were some groans and frustrations at every missed chance.
It seems as though Greg Taylor was one, not just frustrating the supporters, but also his own manager on the touchline.
After a ‘poor’ cross, Pat Bonner stated that Rodgers got ‘frustrated’ with the left-back, and less than ten minutes later, he was subbed off, as he told BBC Radio Scotland.
“McGregor for Hatate, Taylor wants it desperately and gets it in a central area,” explained the BBC commentator. “He curls it into the back post and there is just too much on it. Not a bad idea. He was looking for Engels and just too much on it. Behind for a goal kick.”
Bonner responded: “You are right, the idea was good, but the execution was poor and that’s what’s frustrating. You can see Brendan Rodgers down on this left-hand side, beside him and he is a little frustrated with that also.”

Taylor’s stats for Celtic against Young Boys
There is talk of Kieran Tierney returning to Celtic and it has put a limelight on Taylor’s spot, especially with his contract running down this summer.
Let’s be honest, he divides opinion amongst the supporters and this may well be his final few months in green and white colours.
Taylor’s 69 minutes in a drama-filled game against Young Boys saw WhoScored provide him with a rating of 6.91.
| Total tackles | Interceptions | Clear | Passes | PA% | Crosses | Touches | Rating |
