Celtic have released a statement confirming they have reached out to the authorities over two separate issues from Sunday’s Glasgow derby.
The Hoops unfortunately lost 3-2 to Rangers after a spirited fightback to see their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership slip ever so slightly to 13 points.

Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate clawed Celtic back into the game having been 2-0 down at half-time but Hamza Igamane scored the winning goal despite Celts looking the more likely to win the action on the day.
It was after Igamane’s goal that Vaclav Cerny caused chaos from the Rangers bench as he turned and ran down the touchline, skooshing his water bottle at the home fans. That sparked a raging reaction from some of the supporters involved and complaints were raised.

Celtic ‘raised concerns’ about Vaclav Cerny Rangers behaviour
Now Celtic have issued a statement regarding Cerny’s pathetic behaviour as the Czechia international faces a potential ban this term.
Their statement read: “With regards to the match at Celtic Park, we can (also) confirm that the Club has raised concerns regarding members of the away team engaging with Celtic supporters with the relevant authorities.”
It should not have happened on the sidelines and Cerny now faces punishment from the Scottish FA for his actions.
But his moment of madness wasn’t the only issue raised in the statement.
Green Brigade claim police prevented them from attending Celtic vs Rangers
Following the Green Brigade’s lengthy statement where they claim many fans were unable to attend the match due to police operations, Celtic vowed to investigate by liaising with the authorities.
They said: “Celtic Football Club has received complaints regarding the policing operation concerning yesterday’s match, specifically events away from Celtic Park.
“We are reviewing our supporters’ concerns and will be looking into these issues.
“It is important that these matters are addressed and the Club will be engaging in discussions with supporters and Police Scotland to understand the circumstances and events.”
