There is always drama surrounding a Celtic and Rangers game.
But you sense, given what has played out in Glasgow this season, the upcoming fixture on Saturday afternoon probably has more noise around it than recent matches between these two bitter rivals.
It’s crazy to think that Russell Martin, Brendan Rodgers and Martin O’Neill have all stood in the dugout for this fixture this season.
And now it’s the under-fire Wilfried Nancy, trying to save his Celtic job, facing up against Danny Rohl’s Rangers in a must-win game.

Chris Sutton names the ‘favourites’ for Celtic vs Rangers
Celtic and Rangers played out the most boring game you will ever see at Ibrox in August, before O’Neill guided the Hoops to a thrilling extra-time win at Hampden for the League Cup semi-final in November.
But despite that, Sutton made it clear on BBC 606 that it’s Rangers who are ‘favourites’ for the next instalment of one of world football’s most fascinating rivalries.
This is despite the fixture also taking place at Celtic Park.
Sutton’s comments stem from the fact that Nancy has lost five games in charge, and he senses Rangers are riding a bit of a wave under Rohl.
Whilst Celtic were losing to Motherwell in midweek, the Gers saw off St Mirren, and now they are only three points behind their bitter rivals in the Premiership table.
Robbie Savage: “I have seen a few rumours on social media, Chris, that Martin O’Neill has cancelled an event up in Glasgow. Is that right? Or just a rumour?”
Sutton: “I have seen the same stuff on social media. He has cancelled an event. Does it mean he is going to be back in the dugout on Saturday for the game against Rangers?
“Let’s hear from Celtic fans. Do you want Martin O’Neill back? Or should the Celtic hierarchy have faith in Wilfried Nancy?”
Savage: “Where is the game at, Chris?”
Sutton: “Scotland. That’s where they play all their games.”
Savage: “Where is the game at? Ibrox or Celtic Park?”
Sutton: “Celtic Park. The greatest stadium in the world.”
Savage: “Are there fans allowed in this one? Are there fans back?”
Sutton: “Yeah, they allow fans in. Not as many as there should be.”
Savage: “Who is the favourite in your eyes in this game?”
Sutton: “It’s impossible. I actually think. Wilfried Nancy has lost five out of seven. Danny Rohl is going well. I think Rangers are favourites.”
