New season, same old Celtic?
Brendan Rodgers may be frustrated by Celtic’s lack of spending this summer, but his team will be favourites once again to win this season’s Scottish Premiership.
The campaign kicks off this weekend as the Hoops take on St Mirren at Parkhead, a repeat of the last league game played at the stadium in May.
Celtic could only draw 1-1 on that sunny afternoon, but the occasion will be remembered for James Forrest’s historic equaliser and the title celebrations after the game.
The Hoops will raise the Scottish Premiership winner’s flag before Sunday’s clash against the Buddies before the action gets properly underway.
