A lot has been made of Celtic’s late, late winner against Kilmarnock on Sunday.
Celtic fans would have heard or seen the meltdown from Neill McCann because he wasn’t a happy man post-match.
The Killie boss moaned at why the officials awarded seven minutes of stoppage time, with Julian Araujo obliging and netting the winner in that minute.
You would think that nobody would get that factual information wrong, but it seems as though Kilmarnock’s social media account, and whoever runs it, haven’t taken that defeat well.
Why have Celtic been able to score so many late goals this season?

Kilmarnock’s social media account states Celtic’s goal was scored in the 98th minute
Araujo’s goal was officially scored at 96.26, which is in the 97th minute, the final minute of the stoppage time awarded by the powers that be.
Yet, it seems as though McCann wasn’t the only one bitter about Celtic producing such a late, late show, because whoever is in charge of Killie’s social media account is in the same boat.
They suggested Araujo’s goal was scored in ’90+8′, and X’s community notes even corrected the post with the following message:
‘The deciding goal was scored in the seventh minute of stoppage time, not the eighth.’
Celtic’s defence is a worry ahead of Stuttgart clash in the Europa League
Yes, Celtic fans will be overjoyed by how this past week has panned out. Three stoppage-time goals have been incredible viewing.
It could be argued that the Hoops could continue that on the domestic scene, but there is no way they get away with it in the Europa League.
Celtic host Stuttgart in the Europa League on Thursday night, and the whole team simply can’t repeat those same defensive performances, or else, the game will be gone before O’Neill and his players can travel to Germany for the second leg in a fortnight.
