Celtic’s bid to add another Treble to their collection was thwarted by Aberdeen, who beat the Hoops on penalties.
Brendan Rodgers was slammed for leaving Maik Nawrocki out of the squad after naming an unchanged XI for the Scottish Cup final.
Cameron Carter-Vickers’ header was deflected into Aberdeen’s own net before Kasper Schmeichel made an uncharacteristic error and diverted a cross into the Celtic net with minutes of normal time.
The game had to go to penalties, where both Callum McGregor and Alistair Johnston missed from the spot.
Several Hoops players disappointed and after the game, fans made their thoughts clear on what needs to happen in the summer.

Celtic fans urge the board to improve the squad in the summer
It’s going to be a big summer for the Bhoys now that several have proved that they need more help in order to complete a clean sweep of trophies.
@YKP1888 said: “Massive clear out tonight. Well done Aberdeen.”
@paulstevenwelsh added: “Overhaul needed far too many passengers in this team.”
@scott_melville commented: “That’s what you get when you sell your best striker and don’t replace him.”
“Buy a striker,” stated @kyogosleftfoot.
@PatrickMurphy89 also said: “Much work to be done in the summer if we want to push on in Europe.”
Brendan Rodgers in uncharted territory after Scottish Cup final loss
For the Celtic manager, winning is pretty much all he knows across his two spells in Glasgow.
Rodgers wants to rewrite his Celtic legacy, but his side’s performance ended a record that he was proud to have.
Not only was it the first time a Celtic side managed by Rodgers had lost a final at Hampden Park, it’s also the first time the Bhoys have lost under Rodgers in the Scottish Cup as a whole.
It’s going to be a busy summer and the hard work starts now.
