Celtic fans can’t argue that they aren’t being entertained.
It wasn’t so long ago that Celtic were producing two sleepwalking goalless draws against Kairat Almaty in their Champions League qualifiers.
Back then, Brendan Rodgers’ side couldn’t score a goal or even create a clear-cut chance to save their life, and now, under Wilfried Nancy, they are coming in their droves.
That was proven when Celtic beat Livingston on Saturday afternoon, as Scott Allan wanted to highlight the role Benjamin Nygren is playing under his new boss.

Benjamin Nygren backed to thrive under Wilfried Nancy’s system at Celtic
Just like against Aberdeen last time out, Nygren scored again under Nancy, as Allan thinks he was a ‘standout’ against Livi.
Speaking on Sky Sports Football (27/12/25), Allan thinks a player like Nygren can thrive in Nancy’s all-action system.
“Nygren, for me, he was obviously a standout against Livingston,” said Allan. “He obviously just wants to get into an area and score goals.
“He’s done it time and time again for Celtic this season. Not in terms of 90 minutes and fantastic performances, but really affecting the game.
“You just imagine, if Celtic can get this system right, then he could be one who could really grow in this team.”
Wilfried Nancy says he wanted to sign Celtic midfielder Benjamin Nygren at Columbus Crew.

Nygren’s numbers for Celtic against Livingston
Nancy has to keep this winning run going; it wasn’t so long ago that he was on thin ice and probably on the verge of being sacked by Celtic.
Yes, it’s amazing that Celtic have picked up back-to-back wins, but they aren’t out of the woods yet.
And for Nancy to keep things ticking, he is going to need players like Nygren, who was rated 8.3 by WhoScored, to produce performances like the one against Livingston.
