Celtic fans have been debating on TalkingPoints if there is still a chance of winning the Scottish Premiership title.

Martin O’Neill’s side were beaten by Dundee United as the Hoops failed to show any signs of life on a sand-coated pitch at Tannadice.

With five points separating the Bhoys and league leaders Hearts, the 67 Hail Hail audience have been honest enough to say if they think the league title will be ours.

Celtic fans rule the Hoops out of the title race

The Hoops are one game away from matching their highest number of defeats in a league campaign following their eighth loss of the season at the weekend.

Those sort of numbers never see a side win the title, and the 67 Hail Hail audience told TalkingPoints that it is season over as far as they’re concerned.

One user wrote: “That whole squad of players needs gone, they are all gutless Takeover required to get rid of Desmond who doesn’t care. Then, new manager, coaching staff, full squad of players, medical staff etc. all needed for next season. Not one season ticket should be renewed if Desmond is still in control.”

A second said: “Sorry to say, I love MON but after that performance the season is done.”

Another stated: “It’s over and it was embarrassing to watch, no heart, no plan.”

This person commented: “Season over.”

Meanwhile, this supporter commented: “Yeah it sure is. Diabolical performance yet again today. Not one deserved pass marks. Need a good clear out starting from the top…”

What position would Celtic be in NOW if Brendan Rodgers was still in charge?

Things could've been very different…

More agreed, adding: “Afraid so. Poor squad all down to poor board. Major change needed, not only in squad but particularly in manager appointment.”
