Celtic dragged themselves into a Champions League battle with Aston Villa last night after a miserable start.
Morgan Rogers had given his side a shock 2-0 lead within the first five minutes to stun the visitors and have fans worried about what might have been a long night.
The Hoops, however, don’t lie down to any opponent and they roared back thanks to a brilliant brace from Adam Idah who also lashed in a quick-fire double before the break.
Ollie Watkins would make it 3-2 before Rogers completed his hat-trick late on after a penalty miss, but it was a brave showing from Celts and manager Brendan Rodgers beamed with pride at full-time.

Greg Taylor helped haul Celtic back into the game vs Aston Villa
Idah has finally been given his flowers by former critics for his performance while Chris Sutton joked “who needs Kyogo anyway” after the Irishman finally hit the goals trail again.
However, for one pundit, Idah’s first goal of the evening – an incredible adjustment – it was all about Greg Taylor down the left flank who made it happen.
Taylor hared onto a pass from Reo Hatate to deliver a precise cross for his teammate to score from.
And former Celtic midfielder Stiliyan Petrov commended the left-back for his role in the strike while also applauding Idah for breaking a season-long record at Villa Park.
Why Petrov praised Taylor for teeing up Celtic’s Adam Idah
“That’s what Celtic do best,” Petrov said during his punditry duties on TNT Sports alongside Martin O’Neill and presenter Emma Dodds.
“They move the ball nicely and this is what it is all about, Idah is the first player to score a Champions League goal here at Villa Park.
“But this (first goal) is all about Greg Taylor.
“John McGinn is so unlucky but it’s about a striker being in the right position and it was a great instinct finish.
“It was a great finish and pulled Celtic back in the game.”
