The disappointment of Celtic’s draw with Kairat Almaty is still being felt by supporters.

Celtic fans made their feelings perfectly clear as boos rang around Parkhead at full-time.

The Celtic board are in the crosshairs of much of the Hoops support as frustration grows about the lack of transfer business this summer.

However, 67 Hail Hail did warn the Parkhead board that this Champions League tie could be much more difficult than it needed to be.

Just before kick-off, we appeared on BBC Sportsound to give our thoughts on the Celtic vs Kairat Almaty tie and offered our thoughts on Brendan Rodgers airing his transfer frustrations.

Brendan Rodgers was right to air transfer frustrations to the Celtic board

Brendan Rodgers has vented his frustrations at the lack of transfer business at Celtic and 67 Hail Hail agreed with the Hoops boss.

Just before kick-off, I represented 67 Hail Hail on BBC Sportsound and said, “I think he’s probably saying what the Celtic fans are feeling at the moment, to be honest.

“I think it’s difficult watching the club have so much money in the bank selling our top players like Kuhn and Kyogo and seem to be taking their time to replace them.

“And also what you hear in the media, or whatever is happening with potential transfers that just adds to the frustration, he’s probably just saying what Celtic fans are feeling.”

67 Hail Hail warned Celtic that lack of transfer business could make Kairat Almaty a ‘banana skin’

As confidence amongst the Celtic supporters grew that a win over Kairat could happen, 67 Hail Hail warned the board that lack of investment in the team could make this a potential ‘banana skin’.

I continued, “What do we have left in the transfer window? Ten days? So there is time to get players in.

“But ideally you wanted them in before this game so there was no potential for this tie to become a potential banana skin before we get to the league phase.

“So I think he’s right here to air it. I just wish the club were a bit quicker in getting their business done this summer.”

With the tie all square and a 7,000 mile round trip to Kazakhstan now up next, Celtic supporters will be hoping that this side Rodgers has at his disposal will have enough about them to see off Kairat in their own back yard.
