Can Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain be like Scott Sinclair for Celtic?

There are similarities between this deal and the one that saw Scott Sinclair join Celtic.

Sinclair had lost his way after initially promising so much at Manchester City, failing to deliver in several loan spells.

He came north of the border and revitalised his career, which is what Oxlade-Chamberlain could do here, and a number of 67 Hail Hail fans seemingly agree.

One supporter said: “He’s 32. It’s not that old and he could do a job up here. He’s got 35 England caps and played at a higher level than here.”

Another stated: “If Martin O’Neill wants him I’m all for it. Martin is an old fox; he knows what he’s doing.”

This person wrote: “If Martin O’Neill and Virgil van Dijk are endorsing him to do a good job for Celtic that’s good enough for me. I think he will do well; he has looked after himself and has been training full time with Arsenal. Scoring the winner at Ibrox would be nice.”

A fourth commented: “He is good but the worry is his fitness record.”

Additionally, this TalkingPoints user was in agreement, saying: “Actually wouldn’t mind this. Even if it is a short-term deal, it’s another body in central midfield.”
