Celtic will need to boost their squad in January after the failures of the summer transfer window.
One of the holes Celtic dug themselves into was not replacing winger Nicolas Kuhn after he was sold to Como.
Yes, Kuhn’s form dropped during the second half of the last campaign, and some supporters happily saw him depart for £16.5 million.
But the champions of Scotland have still lacked balance in the forward areas this term, as Kuhn is in a bitter-sweet situation under Cesc Fabregas at Como.
How many signings do Celtic need in January?

How is Nicolas Kuhn getting on at Como after his Celtic exit?
On the one hand, Como, who were only promoted to Serie A last season, are sitting fifth in the table, and have only lost one league game this term – five points behind leaders Milan after 13 matches.
That includes beating Lazio, Juventus, and getting a point away at the champions Napoli.
But whilst Kuhn will be delighted with Como locking horns with the giants of Italian football, including Milan, Napoli, Inter, and AS Roma.
The player himself is struggling, just like he did in his first six months at Celtic.
| Games | Goals | Assists | Starts | Off the bench | Unused substitute | Total minutes |
| 10 | 0 | 0 | 4 | 6 | 3 | 405 |
Kuhn hasn’t started a league game since October and is yet to find the back of the net or supply an assist.
Perhaps if Como are patient, like Celtic were with the explosive German winger, then they will see the best of him sooner rather than later, because he needed a bit of time to settle in Glasgow, and perhaps the same is required here.
