Celtic are said to be close to sealing a deal for their second signing of the January transfer window.
Brendan Rodgers has made no secret of the fact that he wants to add more players to his Celtic first-team after making an admission when Celtic beat Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership.
The Hoops gaffer has added just one player to his team after sealing a deal to bring Jota back to Celtic last week in a deal worth just over £6m.
And now, Sky Sports have just revealed that Rodgers is close to adding his second signing of the transfer window on this January transfer deadline day.

Celtic deal so sign Crystal Palace utility player Jeffrey Schlupp ‘close’
Sky Sports presenter, Nick Powell, just shared the latest update that Celtic are ‘close’ to sealing a deal for 31-year-old Ghanian international, Jeffrey Schlupp.
Powell said on Sky Sports, “The latest is that Celtic have made a loan offer for Jeffrey Schlupp of Crystal Palace.
“It’s understood a deal is close to being agreed by the two clubs.”
Schlupp was last linked to Celtic back in August after Rodgers enquired about the versatile Crystal Palace player and now, it seems a deal will be done before the January window closes at 11pm tonight.
Who is Jeffrey Schlupp as Celtic close in on Crystal Palace player
Schlupp is a 31-year-old utility player as Rodgers looks to link up with the former Leicester City player.
Mostly utilised on the left flank, Schlupp has also played in the centre of midfield, attacking midfield, left-back, centre of defence and even as a striker.
With 415 games under his belt and 20 caps for Ghana, Schlupp has a wealth of experience Rodgers could use for the title run-in and the next phase of the Champions League.
Schlupp has also 44 career goals and created 26 assists.
