Celtic face their first Scottish Premiership away trip since a 3-0 win over St Mirren in the New Year when they face Aberdeen.

The Dons are manager-less after sacking Barry Robson and as a result, first-team coach Peter Leven will take charge of the game against the Hoops.

Celts can go eight points clear of Rangers at the summit of the league with victory in the north east but three points is never a given up in Aberdeen so Brendan Rodgers‘ charges must earn their salt at Saturday lunchtime.

Travelling fans may be able to get a glimpse of new signing Adam Idah after his deadline day loan switch from Norwich City, while Nicolas Kuhn could be handed more minutes in a Celtic jersey.

Here, 67 Hail Hail provide you with everything there is to know about the clash against Aberdeen including which TV channel to watch it on, the latest team/injury news and our score prediction.

The cliched ‘new manager bounce’ could benefit Aberdeen on Saturday, even if Peter Leven has only assumed stand-in duties following Barry Robson’s sacking.

And with Cameron Carter-Vickers injured, our defence will lack the solidity and assuredness he offers at the back.

Celtic are not exactly in the best form as fans expressed their disappointment at full-time last weekend against Ross County but our record against Aberdeen is strong and the players can take stock from that heading into the game.

The pressure is on to deliver a result with Rangers almost guaranteed a win against Livingston. However, we are backing Celtic to just about get the job done against an out-of-sorts Aberdeen.
