Alan Brazil lauds Joe Hart’s physique post-retirement, with brilliant Celtic trophy message

Joe Hart was a huge success in Celtic colours and a breath of fresh air for the club.

One of many signings that thrived under Ange Postecoglou, the former England international didn’t just win trophies under the man who brought him to the club, but for Brendan Rodgers also.

Hart was on the books of Tottenham before joining Celtic in 2021, where he was a back-up goalkeeper and struggling for regular minutes in north London.

But Postecoglou helped pick up his stumbling career, as Hart won the Treble at Celtic and ended it with that Scottish Cup triumph before retirement in the summer.

Kasper Schmeichel has since filled Hart’s boots and the Denmark international – son of legendary keeper Peter – is doing a very fine job of it.

The Celtic Park faithful now get to see Hart in action on their TV screens as a pundit for TNT Sport or a co-commentator on Champions League nights, as well as other outlets.

Alan Brazil’s brilliant trophy message to Celtic hero Joe Hart

Celtic-daft Alan Brazil would have enjoyed the club’s success when Hart was at the club and he noted the former goalkeeper’s physique when conducting an interview with him on talkSPORT.

Hart always kept himself in good shape, as he used to post regular clips on social media of him working out, and now that he has retired, it has probably allowed him more time to keep in shape.

But Brazil had a funny way of bringing up Hart’s physique by stating that he has ‘those muscles around your shoulders’ because he has been used to lifting all those trophies at Celtic.

“Well, Joe, I have got to say, you look in remarkable shape,” said Brazil. “Those muscles around your shoulders.

“Is that because of all the trophies and things you won up in Glasgow? I have no sympathy for McCoist.”

How many trophies did Hart win at Celtic?

It has been a trophy-winning career for Hart. A career that started at Shrewsbury Town, he was soon in the colours of Manchester City, as they were going to get taken over by an Abu Dhabi group.

Hart proceeded to win two Premier League titles, two League Cups and an FA Cup in England, as well as 75 caps for his country.

That’s when there was a lull in his career and he started to go backwards, but then it all ended in an explosive manner in the colours of Celtic.
