Ange Postecoglou is in a bit of bother this season as Tottenham manager.
The Celtic hero is facing the sack from Spurs after a difficult campaign with his side currently languishing in 14th spot in the Premier League.
Postecoglou’s results have been “deeply concerning” and owner Daniel Levy could do the unthinkable and bin the Australian even if he reaches the Europa League Final.
So it’s a long way back if he is to stand a chance of clawing his way back into the good graces of the club and the fanbase.
Ange has not felt the same love in North London as he received at Celtic Park where he helped add to the club’s trophy haul with five in two years.

Tam McManus says Postecoglou left Celtic for the ‘wrong club’
And former Hibs attacker Tam McManus believes the boss is “screaming for the sack” and the payday that would come with it following a tense exchange with Sky Sports journo Patrick Davison.
The reporter grilled Postecoglou after Spurs’ 1-0 loss to Chelsea and the boss wasn’t having it.
So when it concluded, McManus was convinced that Postecoglou is in the endgame.
He told his social media followers: “Big man is screaming for the sack/pay off will never need to work again. Couldn’t turn that contract down but joined the wrong club and think he knows that now.
“Ange will never have a bond with fans anywhere else like the one he had with the Celtic fans.”
Postecoglou’s Spurs record since Celtic exit
Postecoglou Spurs record, 2024/5 season
Played: 47
Won: 21
Drawn: 6
Lost: 20
Goals scored: 88
Conceded: 66
Points/PPM: 69/1.47
McManus’ viewpoint can’t really be argued as Hoops supporters adored their former manager before he eventually left for the Premier League.
Ange will always be a fan of Celtic and vice versa, so it’s a disappointment to see him struggling in the English top flight.
Of course if there is anyone who can turn things around at the club we feel it would be Postecoglou.
But it remains to be seen as to whether or not he will be given the chance to do so as one more bad result could seal his fate.
