Joe Hart has been a phenomenal Celtic signing. From his saves to his leadership in the dressing room and relationship with supporters, Ange Postecoglou committed to a great goalkeeper and a very sound person.
Evidence of his wholesome nature has been apparent throughout the season, most recently going out of his way to take a picture of Jota and a young supporter who climbed onto the pitch after the Alloa game.
This week, he’s delighted the family of Carl Starfelt.
BBC Scotland bizarrely bumped into Starfelt’s uncle in Glasgow city centre yesterday, conducting a brilliant interview with him. The Celtic defender’s family were in attendance at Wednesday night’s derby, with his uncle proudly showing off a signed Hart jersey from the game itself.

Hart and Starfelt seem to be forming a partnership off the pitch as well as on it. Both players have been key parts of a defence that is undoubtedly the best in Scotland right now.
Celtic have conceded just 13 goals in 24 matches so far this season, seven fewer than the next defensively ranked Hearts.
For all the talk about Ange Postecoglou’s reckless attacking style at the start of the season, it’s actually the defence that has laid a foundation on which the rest is built.
So, thank goodness for Starfelt, Hart, Cameron Carter-Vickers and the rest. And I hope the Swedish international’s uncle really enjoyed his trip to Scotland!
