Awards clash means several Celtic stars are in for a busy Sunday night

Several key personnel at Celtic are in for a busy night on Sunday.

While the men are in action against Rangers on Saturday and the women against Hibernian 24 hours, the real running about may end up happening on Sunday night.

Earlier today, multiple Celtic players were named as nominees for the PFA Scotland’s end-of-season awards.

The dinner will take place this Sunday, as per the PFA Scotland website.

67 Hail Hail has also learned that Celtic’s own in-house Player of the Year event is this Sunday.

While details of that haven’t been made public by the club, there will be hundreds of Celtic supporters in attendance.

With the likes of Kyogo Furuhashi, Reo Hatate and Caitlin Hayes all nominated for both Celtic and PFA Scotland awards, it will be interesting to see how the club work things out.

Manager Ange Postecoglou is another likely to be needed at both events.

Stuff like this is likely to have happened in the past, especially when you add the Football Writers’ awards in to the mix.

Celtic have four main awards for our own event: Player of the Year, Goal of the Season, Young Player of the Year and Women’s Player of the Year.

Those were all voted for by supporters with polls now closed. There will, however, be some other awards chosen by different people.

So Sunday night could be a good one to keep an eye on if you want to see who picks up the main awards for another brilliant Celtic season.
