Nicolas Kuhn has been on fire for Celtic this season as Brendan Rodgers enjoys an unbeaten start to the domestic season and a good run in the Champions League.

The German winger has been garnering all the plaudits as former Celtic players and pundits crow about the Celtic hero.

Talking up Nicolas Kuhn after the win over Kilmarnock, Celtic boss, Brendan Rodgers explains why the Hoops hero was disappointed at Rugby Park.

Rodgers told Celtic TV, “Well, confidence is one, and two, he has obviously got that feeling now for scoring goals.

“He is disappointed he did not score the other one, which he felt was an easier one just before.

“But his movement was great, his touch to set himself up, and the finish was absolutely sublime.

”And we needed that because at 1-0 with balls coming into the box it’s very close. So he enabled us to settle the game.

“And it was a fantastic run, great pass by Ali but a great run and finish from Nic.”
