The plaudits just keep on rolling for Celtic and their players after the Champions League win over RB Leipzig this week.

And do you know what? They deserve it. After being severely criticised for losing to Borussia Dortmund, Celtic deserve all the praise coming their way over the next few days.

Brendan Rodgers masterminded a draw in Atalanta and has now overthrown the second-best team in Germany after Celtic dealt a serious lesson to Leipzig on Tuesday night.

And Scott Brown and Neil Lennon were blown away by one Celtic player who they say was ‘on flames’ for the Parkhead victory.

Scott Brown in awe of ‘exceptional’ Celtic hero Nicolas Kuhn

On punditry duty with TNT Sports inside Celtic Park, Nicolas Kuhn left both Celtic legends glowing after his goals put Celtic 2-1 ahead just before halftime.

Brown told TNT Sports, “Oh, 100%, they went quiet for a little bit. But if I’m a Celtic player today, I’m giving Kuhn the ball. He seems on flames.

“He’s enjoying today, and that’s just an exceptional finish.

“The defender lets him go inside on his stronger foot, but he’s looking at all the way, and you can hear Joe, he’s not sure if it’s a cross or if it’s a shot, but it’s exceptional.

“That’s what you want for your wingers in that area.”

Neil Lennon roasts Leipzig ‘nonsense’ as Celtic ‘punished’ mistakes

Lennon concluded, “It’s just individual brilliance. Brilliant bit of recruitment from Celtic as well, outstanding signing and he’s just getting better and better.

“This is nonsense from Leipzig. You can’t do this away from home against good opposition the way Celtic are and Celtic punished them.

“Brilliant little play from Hatate and a great little run from Greg Taylor on the pull back and there’s that man on the spot again.”

Kuhn is the talk of the town and is fast becoming a huge fan favourite after the Celtic winger struggled in the early stages of his Parkhead career.

With talk of Kuhn becoming a possible candidate for the Germany squad the Celtic star has done his chances no harm after that performance against RB Leipzig.
