Brendan Rodgers has sung the praises of the latest Celtic academy player to put pen to paper on a new contract.
Celtic have a long-standing history of bringing their own through the ranks and boast a healthy contingent of those who have learned the trade from a young age in the first team setup.
Kieran Tierney and Callum McGregor are two of those and another one around the squad has committed his long-term future to the Bhoys.

Dane Murray signs new Celtic contract
Dane Murray has been around Lennoxtown all of his life and in the last few seasons, has been doing his best to stake a claim for a spot in the first team.
Murray impressed Celtic fans in pre-season and it seems he caught the eye of the Celtic manager too following confirmation of his new contract.
The 22-year-old has agreed a new deal until 2028 and Rodgers said that it was something the centre-back had worked hard for.
He told Celtic TV: “Dane is a young player I have really enjoyed working with and is someone who has really developed well across the past few seasons.
“I know there is so much more to come from him and I believe he can have a really successful future with us.
“He has a brilliant attitude to the game and is great team-mate within our squad. He is very deserving of this new contract and I am delighted for him.”
When did Dane Murray make his Celtic debut?
Having been at the club since the age of six, Murray has gone through all of the youth ranks to make it to the top.
His senior debut for the Hoops came on 20 July, 2021 during Celtic’s Champions League qualifier against FC Midtjylland.
Murray was introduced as a second-half substitute when he was only 18 years old. He impressed enough to go on to play the full 90 minutes in the following leg.
